Muhammad Zaky Firdaus

I am an incoming PhD student at the University of Central Florida, soon supervised by Dr. Hao Zheng. I’m working on the intersection of Machine Learning and Computer Architecture, with an emphasis on hardware-software co-design and acceleration of systems for ML applications, such as DNNs. I enjoy implementing hardware solutions for ML that are both performant and reliable.

Previously, B.Sc in Computer Science (Universitas Gadjah Mada). I worked closely with Dr. Muhammad Alfian Amrizal and Dr. Jian Weng during undergrad.

  • April 2026 Our paper, Fully Homomorphic Encryption Inference of Neural Networks using CKKS-TFHE Scheme Switching and Accelerated Linear Layers, has been accepted to ASIACCS 2026.
  • Feb 2026 I will be starting my PhD program in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida in Fall 2026, advised by Prof. Hao Zheng.
  • Oct 2025 Joined King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) as a Visiting Student at the SyntheSys Lab under Prof. Jian Weng.
  • Aug 2025 Graduated from Universitas Gadjah Mada as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
